ProtectStar sets up the ProtectStar Foundation
Bradenton, FL, USA, 29.06.2006 – ProtectStar Inc, the independent IT security expert active worldwide, sets up the non-profit ProtectStar Foundation.
"It's up-and-running“ It was with these somewhat unconventional words that Christopher Bohn, CEO at ProtectStar Inc, began his welcome speech at the ProtectStar Foundation opening ceremony.
First, Bohn introduced the concept of the "pixel-dollar“ to the invited guests. The term is directly connected to the ProtectStar Foundation's "Pixel4Help“ initiative.
The aim of this initiative is to make a sponsored web page available where companies and private individuals can display their logos in pixel format. For each pixel, the ProtectStar Foundation donates one "pixel dollar" to current relief projects.
